I bought these in place of the powder that you make into shakes. I couldn't keep the shakes down, and the capsules have worked wonderfully. If interested, I would definitely recommend them. They aren't any bigger than most vitamins, and should be taken one at a time with a total of 14 ounces of water. That's worked for me. Hope this was helpful.

I'm a 50 year old female and very fit. I bought this product via Amazon about a month ago to add extra fiber, naturally and to get more regular. I also have Candida and my digestion was very erratic. I take 9 capsules a day and it works very well. I do not suffer any side affects, such as gas or bloating. I actually read about Psyllium Husk in a Candida book and so glad I did. The price is also reasonable, especially for 500 capsules. I will definitely be buying these again. It's also important to eat lots of dark, green veggies in your diet.

This is the best method to take psyllium husk (metamucil). Tasteless capsules are much better than trying deal with the disgusting powder. I take 3 caps in the morning and 3 more at night. Have been using these caps for years with great success. And, the price is the best!!!

These expand to rapidly in the stomach, causing a heartburn-like sensation. If you use psyllium husk in water, mixed before drinking, this never happens. I'm guessing there's no way around this; you just can't put psyllium husk in a pill & expect it to be comfortable.

This has got to be the best invention, second to digestive enzymes! Take them with almost every meal. Two with very heavy meals. Never a problem. Between the Now Psyllium Husk Caps.fiber & Enzymedica Digest GOLD Digestive Enzymes, we never have stomach aches, bloating or indigestion! (Even if we eat an occasional greasy, fried meal!) You have got to try them, you'll never go back! Promise! BRAVO!
